Introducing Mrs Panda!

Mrs Panda loves Pink! Her favourite candy are bon bon’s. Her best friend is Gloria the hedgehog (coming soon!) and all she wants to do is meet Mr Panda, but he always seems too shy to say hello.

Now available at my Etsy shop! Mr Panda is also available again.

Also available. Cute little gingerbread man decoration!

More updates coming this weekend!

Goodies

I went to a craft fair yesterday (not to sell unfortunately, didn't realise there was one until last week!) and to my utter delight there was someone there selling Japanese deco tape! I nearly screamed in excitement, lol. I bought 14 rolls, but if I'm honest, had I the money I probably would have bought the lot, haha!

I also picked up the two gorgeous greeting card prints by a local artist by the name of James Buttifont. I decided to the put the moonlight one in a frame and the xmas one is going to my parents this year. Love penguins!

Also, rather exciting but I gave the organiser my details so hopefully I will be able to have a stall at the next fair which is very exciting!

I have been sewing for a large part of today and have finished stitching up 27 xmas tree decorations so far. I have to admit that last 6 were a chore and I'm glad they're done. I'm on to candy canes and gingerbread men next, lol.

Also, having thought about it, I now have my very own Titchables twitter! I have protected my entries (mostly to stop the spam accounts following me) so if you would like updates in real time check out Titchables @ Twitter!

My Trip to London!

I think I mentioned this, but for my birthday me and my family went to London for a few days. I've been a couple of times, but only to see concerts (and to be honest, the arenas aren't in the nicest places!) so it was nice to see some touristy things for a change.

We managed to cram a lot into 3 days; Natural History Museum, Harrods and Oxford St, went by the London Eye and Westminster, London Aquarium and the Tower of London. I had a really great time, though it was a bit tiring. Here's a few pictures (you can see the rest at my Flickr!).

Xmas Sneak Peak!

For the last couple of evenings I've been manically cutting up felt and fabric to get ready for my Xmas products. I'm so excited about these! I can't wait to see them all sewn up and ready for sale in my shop!

How cute are those tiny pom pom's? I'm hoping to have everything ready by November 1st, though I won't be adding everything at once.

Anybody else getting ready for Xmas?

Shop Update

How is everyone today? Good I hope. I am currently starting on my Xmas products! I'm very excited about them and I can't wait to start updating my shop. I'm aiming for a November 1st start with getting Xmas items up and ready.

Anywhoo, the other day I picked up some lovely cotton mix yarn and I decided to crochet some yummy wash/dish cloths.

They are 8" square and have a hook so you can hang them up. They are SO soft. This set is now available at my Etsy shop!

I also did some more packaging for some of the newer items the other day. I'm trying to use as much as I can that I already have, opposed to going out and buying more to make the packaging so I used up some of the scrapbooking products that I have. I don't scrapbook anymore (far too expensive a hobby!) but I still have a lot of products left over. Great way to use them up!

Cuteable feature

My Rainbow Pom Pom Garland got featured on the cuteable blog today! Very exciting! You can still get this at my Etsy shop.

My plans for today are to put some Xmas product ideas into motion, update my shop with a new flower brooch and take pictures of my packaging. :D

Xmas already?

No pictures for you today I'm afraid. I do have a few bits to show you but the light here today has been terrible so it's impossible to get any good shots.

I've been starting to think about what to make for my shop for Xmas. We are rapidly going through October so I think it's time to get to work on some Xmassy products. I have a few ideas running through my head at the moment which I'm excited about working on. I think I shall use this weekend as time to sketch them out.

Very exciting day yesterday as I sold one of my rainbow keychains! It's so wonderful to check my email to find I have sold something.

Just as an FYI, if you are planning on buying anything from my etsy shop in the next couple of days, just note that there might be a delay due to the postal strikes going on in the UK Thursday and Friday. I can send orders out as normal, but there will be a back log of post which could mean your purchase is delayed.

Pom Pom Garland

I love pom poms. I love garlands. So I thought about putting them together to create a pom pom garland, genius right? I really love how this came out. The colours are so yummy!

The poms are adjustable so you can have them really far apart or really close together depending on where you want to put it in your home. It's now available at my Etsy shop!

Custom

Today I worked on a custom order. A customer wanted Mr Panda, but smaller and attached to a keychain, thus the Baby Panda Keychain has been born! It's now on it's way to it's new owner, but it's very possible there could be more of these soon.

Size comparison!

All wrapped up, with business card. I package all my orders like this!

As an FYI, Mr Panda is still available to buy in my Etsy shop!

2010 Diary

I found these tiny pocket diaries the other day and thought they would be perfect for a little altering. They are a great size for your pocket or purse/handbag and I have a few varieties that I'll be adding over the coming days. The first one comes in moss green and has a cute owl on the front. You can now buy it over at my Etsy shop!

More images at my Flickr or on the product page at Etsy!

Meet Mr Panda!

My brand new plushie, now available in my Etsy store!

Mr Panda’s favourite food is chocolate, especially kit kats. He loves to read and play with his marbles. He doesn’t have many friends so he gets a bit lonely and he is always on the lookout for Mrs Panda.

Shop Update + More!

Hello! Small shop update today. I just added these lovely polaroid brooches. One day I would love to own a polaroid (or maybe one of those Fuji instax mini cameras I've seen on people's blogs lately!).

I also received the Moo cards I ordered the other day. They came out great! I ordered them all the same and if you order from the store, you'll get one of these lovelies in your package! Can't recommend them enough!

AND! I am working on a new granny square blanket! I recently got some new curtains so the colour theme matches them. I'm very excited about it! Will keep you all updated on it's progress.

Shop Update!

Just added these lovelies to the shop! They come in four different colours; Mocha, Raspberry, Lilac and Coral. Go check them out!

I have a lot more to add, but I'm going to stagger putting them at the shop to get maximum exposure. :D

I have also uploaded some crochet items to a new shop at Misi so if you're in the UK and would prefer to see all prices in £££'s please head on over there. I think I may just have this store for crochet bits and bobs, but we'll see what happens.

Yarn!!

I thought I would introduce you to my yarn collection. In the past several months (especially since I've picked up crochet) I've been accumulating all sorts. I decided it was about time I organised them. I was using a drawer unit, but it wasn't very practical so I thought I would pop them in one of my cupboards so when I open the door I have a feast of colourful joy to look at!

Before, a giant mess!

After! Looking much better!

Multi colours.

So colourful.

Yummy fibres.

Hope you enjoyed the visual treat!

New Scarf

Hi all! So many projects and ideas swimming around in my head at the moment. It's very refreshing to have so much inspiration and creativity going on. My craft area (ie the floor) is a flurry of unfinished brooches, cut out fabric, yarn and felt. I'd show you but I want to keep some things secret for now.

Until then, I thought I'd show you the scarf I crocheted yesterday. I found the pattern in "Not Your Mama's Crochet" which I got from the library the other day. Very quick and easy pattern. Think I might make some more!

It all started when I found some gorgeous yarn in a shop at the weekend and knew it would be perfect for a lovely winter scarf, and I was right. It's super soft, and if you want to know the stats on it: Patons Symphony Super Chunky (Shade: 00008, Dye Lot: 2194). I very much recommend it! Here's some pictures:
