I thought I would give you a little update on what's new with me. I very rarely give you any insight into my life as a person, and I really want to try and make this blog a little more personal so you can get to know the person behind Titchables. It will also be nice to write some blogs where I'm not promoting like a crazy person, I'm sure as a reader it must get a little boring sometimes!
Anyway, on the "real" job front, I have started a new part time job at a little clothes shop. I finished my forth shift today and so far, I'm enjoying it. I had a successful day today sales wise in the shop (can't say the same for Titchables, but oh well!) which my new boss was pleased with. I've been out of work for a while, so getting back into a rigid routine is a little hard going at the moment, but I'm sure I'll get used to it!
As a treat to celebrate my new job, I bought a brand new laptop! I've had my old one for over 3 years now and it was becoming very loud, very hot and more irritatingly VERY SLOW - not good! My new one is great. I went with a Packard Bell and I can definitely recommend the brand. I love getting new toys!

Folksy

Well after a few weeks of inner debate, I have decided to open up a Folksy shop. I wasn't entirely sure if this would be worth it, seeing as I have an etsy and my own shop but I figured it's worth a go for a little while to see what happens. If anything, it will expose Titchable to more people in the UK and that can only be a good thing. :)
I won't be adding everything there, just the felt packs and a few handmade things here and there. I've added a bit already so do go and check it out!
In other news, I had a huge tidy up in my craft/living room today. Moved all the furniture to hoover absolutely everywhere, feels so good to get everything clean and shiny (no doubt before all the craft stuff explodes everywhere again!).
Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend!

Rose Brooches
I designed some new brooches the other day and this is the result. I love how these came out and I'm looking forward to trying different colour-ways with them too! I have the Grey/Lemon/White one above and the Pink/Blue/White one below so far and you can check them out at the etsy shop!
Sorry for no Seller Spotlight yesterday. I was a bit behind in finding someone take part so decided to skip it this week. If anyone would like to take part, then please send me an email: titchables(at)gmail(dot)com.

Wholesale Buttons!
I just completed a new wholesale order of fabric buttons for a shop in Brighton (the one I've mentioned before!). I really love taking a photo of when they're all done.
Making buttons is fun, but also very repetitive. I've finally got a system set up which works for me now and it's made keeping track of what I have fabric-wise for buttons so much easier to manage.
The Fawn/Bird buttons and Heart buttons are now available at the etsy shop and I'll be adding the one's with the sheep shortly!

Getting Ahead!
Some sewing has finally been achieved this week. I seem to spend about 90% of my time thinking about sewing, and about 1% actually doing it. The other 9% is just spent faffing on the internet!

This is the last batch of Panda keychains. These have been really popular and I'm so sad I can't find any more of the fabric (see below post if you can help locate some!). I also finally got around to making another Rainbow Plush!
I hope (if you're in the UK) you're enjoying the beautiful weather. I am not because my hayfever doesn't agree with all this pollen. I am however being a rebel and have 2 windows open (!). Go me!
