Meet Chocolate Mint!

This is Chocolate Mint, the newest Titchables Owl! Isn't he cute? I have several more in the planning stages but I need to order the right colour felt for them - you never have the colours you want when you need them!

The Final Owl

After three tries, I think I've finally decided on my owl design. I put this together last night, used the nice felt and I love it! This one is called Rose Cheesecake. I've got a lot of colour combinations that I want to do so once I've stitched a few I'm going to be putting them online at folksy (and possibly etsy too).

My owls

Thought I would show you my owls. I created the pattern myself and they fit in the palm of your hand. These are just prototypes right now as I'm just experimenting and see what works best. As you can see, here I was trying to see the best way to do the wings. I think I've decided the second way works better mostly because it's a quicker stitch. :)

I didn't embellish the second one, but I plan to on the finished products. I have a few sketches for different themed owls but I think this idea is still in the experimental stage.
